Thought this mother-daughter team would be anything else for Halloween? Ugh, as if!

Fashion icon and businesswoman, Kim Kardashian, made a post that contained a photo set of her and her daughter, North West, dressed up as stars from “Clueless” for Halloween.

Kim dressed up as Cher Horowitz (Alicia Silverstone) and North dressed up as her best friend Dionne Davenport (Stacey Dash). The mother and daughter duo donned Cher and Dionne’s iconic plaid school uniforms. Kim wore the yellow blazer, miniskirt, and vest combo while North wore the black and white blazer, miniskirt, vest, and bonnet combination. The two effortlessly looked the part.

Kim and North each seemingly dressed as the characters in a very intentional manner. Kim may have portrayed Cher because the photos are posted to Kim’s Instagram. Cher is the main character of the movie just as Kim is the “main character” of her profile. Moreover, North portrayed Dionne because she has a supporting role on her famous mother’s Instagram.

The intentional nature of the photoshoot is further referenced through Kim and North’s ethnicities. Kim is an ever-so-savvy social navigator and more than likely chose to do the “Clueless” matching costumes with her daughter. Kim is Dutch and Scottish from her mom’s side and Armenian from her father’s side. She is considered to be White, or “white adjacent,” American just as Cher is. North is Half-Black and Half-White with performing artist, Kanye West, as her father. This biracial quality was shared by Stacey Dash, who portrayed Dionne.

The similarities and intentions don’t stop there because Kim and North are both stylish fashionistas who are rich like their “Clueless” counterparts, with North currently being rich as a consequence of her business-savvy parents. Perhaps all of the above is just happenstance, and Kim and North just wanted to wear matching costumes for the Halloween celebrations. The two slayed the “Clueless” matching costumes and did so in style.
